Glossop Business Network (GBN), launched in June 2006, was set up to provide local businesses with an opportunity to meet up and promote their businesses. Travelling to other groups can be problematical and can also be expensive. Glossop Business Network is a pay as you go group with no initial joining fees.
GBN is a not for profit organisation, run by Kathy Ford of The Solutions Agency, with some website support from Simon Belt of Simply Better IT. When in person meetings are possible again, we will meet on the 3rd Friday of each month at Square West, The Old Co-op Building, Norfolk Square, Glossop, SK13 8BP, between 12 noon and 2pm.
GBN is now the Award Winning GBN – having being voted Best Regional Business Development Initiative by SME East Midlands.
We have guest speakers at each event, presenting on a wide variety of subjects. Every attendee has the opportunity to perform a “60 second presentation” on their business. All local businesses and those from further afield are welcome to come along and join us in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Parking is available on the Municipal Buildings car park.
